Good Food, courtesy of a Chorlton-based social enterprise which brings foodies together in pursuit of better nosh. The business has


been cooking up a storm with local community groups, while the public have been queuing up to join their new season of cooking classes, ranging from Breadmaking for Beginners, to making marvellous Mexican tapas and the intriguingly titled ‘Risottos de-mystifi ed’! Along the way, there are sessions in Chinese cooking; baking pies, cakes and tarts; making pasta, pizzas and calzones; gluten-free baking, tofu and tempeh, soups, vegetarian roast and lots more lip-smacking stuff. company, with three Directors, four non- Executive Directors, 14 trained cooks, with 19 new cooks due to go through their training, fi ve co-ordinators, two admin support and a press offi cer. Each class is lead by an experienced chef and lasts three hours, with no more than 12 people attending. Whether you are a confi dent cook or a budding beginner, there’s something in the sessions for everyone. Classes cost from only £20/£15 concessions each. Saturday cooking sessions run from 11 - 2pm – and you can tuck into what you make!
