fi rst class - there are a bewildering array of community events taking place each week at Inspire, from photography and textiles classes to Family Tae-kwondo. In between there are classes in pizza making, African dancing, Spanish, reiki, yoga and other alternative therapies, a fi lm club and a ‘memories club’ for older residents. Add three drama clubs, a busy cafe, a social media


suite, three superbly equipped meeting rooms and a business centre for up to 15 small local enterprises and you have a bustling and thriving community hub. “We have a massive programme of


community activities, with 32 regular community events or activities going on,“ says Kate. “There’s a bit of a buzz around


Levenshulme at the moment, with lots of different activity – and that’s something Inspire has been partly responsible for. “Our aim is to become a beautiful, thriving and well loved centre, owned by the people of Levenshulme which offers people a place to meet, to learn, to work and to have fun”.
