Weaverville Toy, food drive at CornerStore
David and Dana Hensley and Willie Ogle of the CornerStore in Weaverville, located at the corner of North Main Street and Dula Springs Road, want to help brighten Christmas for some local children and their families. Starting on Friday (Nov. 12) and running through Dec. 20, they will be collecting new toy donations and non-perishable foods. These items will be given to local children and their families in need this holiday season. They are asking for your help in making the drive a success. “We just want to give back to our community and thought this would be a good way to do it. There are people in this community who really are in need and with the donations we hope to make a difference for them,” said David Hensley.
