Three priests to showcase art

Gordon Anderson and Father Paul Blankenship will be showcasing their art beginning Friday (Oct. 15) and continuing through Nov. 5 at St. Matthew’s Anglican Church at 812 Reems Creek Road in Weav- erville. An opening reception will be held from 6:30 pm to 9 pm on Friday. Viewings will be held from 9 am to 6 pm each Saturday during the show and 1 pm to 6 pm each Sunday.

ing their annual Fall Festival from 4:30 pm to 8 pm on Friday (Oct. 15) at the primary school. Tere will be games, prizes, cupcake walk, performers, inflatable rides, food (Athens Restaurant, Chick-Fil-A, nachos, popcorn and more), face painting by Scribbles the Clown, a 50/50 raffle drawing, second-chance drawing with lots of prizes and an opportunity to soak the teachers. Morgan Hill Baptist fundraiser A fundraiser rummage sale will be held beginning at 8 am on Satur-


day (Oct. 16) at Morgan Hill Baptist Church located at 594 Barnardsville Highway in Weaverville. Baked goods, canned goods, car wash and more will be available.
