The Selfish Giant by Mandy Precious Performance Dates Friday 1st April 2011 and Saturday 2nd April 2011 @ 2.30pm The children liked to play in the Giant’s Garden. It was a place that made them really happy. One day, the Giant came back. He frightened the children and they ran away. He put up a sign that said, ‘Trespassers will be Prosecuted’. He was very selfish. He built walls and kept them out. When the spring came, it remained winter in the garden, all because the giant was too selfish to share. One day, he heard a bird singing and thought spring had come, but instead it was because the children had snuck in. The Giant befriends the children... and he learns that even when he shares things do not always work out. Auditions for School Years 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 Tuesday 18th January 2011 5pm - 6.30pm What if?
