Happy New Year. How was it for you ? So that was 2010. Was it a good year for you? Was it a great year ? or was it one to forget ? It’s been a fantastic year for the Herald as we’ve been able to share our magazine with a wider audience. We now deliver to 45,000 homes in five separate communities, and we are looking forward to an exciting new year with some new ideas to keep you entertained, but also to provide a valuable service for our advertisers and local organisations. This edition gives us chance to look back at some of the highlights of the last year, or low lights in terms of the England football team. We reflect on the music scene, and, with Burns Night later this month, we dedicate some space to celebrate the man. There’s also a Scottish flavour running through the pages as we bring in the New Year, as you’ve probably noticed from the bagpipes in our heading.
