SNOWETRY IN MOTION
Little crystal dots appear, And fall upon the ground,
Very soon a blizzard starts, And drifts them all around.
Don’t go out you are advised, Unless you really must,
But work is waiting, so you go, And get there – only just!
Cars are sliding, lorries jack-knife, Chaos then ensues,
Where are the gritters? people shout,
They can’t get there for the queues.
Transport cancelled, airports closed,
Things grind to a halt, 1. The Likely Lads For a few days life’s disorded,
And it’s all the damn snow’s fault. Angie Greenwood
