Mobile poker players can now play real money NLH heads up alongside regular six-max NLH cash games. They have also added an extra alert sound when it is a player’s turn to act at the tables making multi- tabling much easier. Conor McCarthy, co-founder of the site said,

IRISH PRO CAPTURES TITLE IN DUBLIN
Nicholas Newport won the
paddypowerpoker.com Irish Masters poker tournament, winning the first
prize of e125,000 and outlasting 346 other players taking part in the e1,650 NLH event. The Irish Masters was the main event of
the Irish Winter Festival which took place in the Burlington Hotel, Dublin from October 23rd – 25th. Newport is well-known on the Dublin poker
circuit and has had much success in recent live events. He remained under the radar until the final day but then he began to accumulate chips and suddenly became a real contender for the title. Encouraged by the support of his friends and family, Nicholas took control of the final table and found himself heads-up against fellow Irishman Charlie Harvey who won e77,000 for his second place finish. stacked their way into the Guinness World Record Book in Dublin by making the world’s biggest poker chip stack.
The gigantic stack, which was three metres tall and 50cm wide, took five people over 72 hours to complete and comprised of 75,000 poker chips.
