Starting School


When your child starts school at Argyle you will be asked to help us fill out some forms giving us health and dietary information and home, work and emergency contact numbers in case we need to call you. We keep this information on a computer in confidence. You will be asked to sign a home-school agreement which explains school and parental roles and responsibilities in supporting our children. Families of nursery children are visited at home prior to children starting school. Induction visits are held for Early Years Foundation stage children in July and November.


All children are expected to buy a book bag and a water bottle for school. We also have a uniform, which all children wear. There are more details of this later on.
