SINEAD COPLEY CROWNED TEMECULA’S TOP TRENDSETTER
Project Style 2010 ends with
final ‘Style-Off’ event at Promenade Temecula. Sinead Copley of Temecula just won the title of ‘Temecula’s Top Trendsetter’ and a $1,000
Gift Card courtesy of Promenade Temecula. The new label comes after a five-round fashion competition hosted by the shopping center that finished with a final “Style-Off” event last Sat- urday, October 23rd. Over the past five months, contestants were hand-picked by mall management to compete
in a fashion contest where they were asked to upload their personal picks to the shopping social network
Shoptopia.com. Members of the site were invited to vote for their favorite fash- ion look. Winners of all five rounds were invited back to compete in the final event where the requirement was to put together a complete outfit in one hour and adhere to a $250 budget. Four judges rated each contestant’s final style based on several categories including tying
to a current trend, budget, individuality and overall style. Judges included Barbara Contre- ras, Community and Educational Affairs for the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising; Marc Dimla, Visual Merchandiser for Macy’s Temecula; Diane Simones, Editor and Publisher of Neighbors Newspaper; and Jose Arballo, Jr., Editor of
SWRNN.com (Southwest Riverside News Network). After the event, Ms. Contreras stated, “I am glad to see that Sinead won. Her style is very fashion-forward and she completed the entire task under budget and in the time allotted”. Kim Dimla, Fashion Editor for Inland Empire Magazine emceed the event that captured
