NOVEMBER 2010 BE AN ANGEL AND
ADOPT AN ANGEL FOR CHRISTMAS! The COMMUNITY FOOD PANTRY
OF MURRIETA is a non-profit food pan- try located in Murrieta, CA. Our mission is to provide for those who are less fortu- nate and have little or no means of support. We are seeking to provide a Christmas for Murrieta children, seniors and home- less vets at March Air Force Base. We have over 600 children, 200 seniors and 150 homeless veterans registered on our “CHRISTMAS ANGEL WISH LIST”. We are asking you to help by adopt-
ing an Angel and purchase clothing and/or toys for a child or incidentals for a senior or homeless veteran. For many, these will be there only Christmas presents. During these tough economic times,
it is more essential than ever that we reach out and touch someone with the true Christmas Spirit, that of Giving! If you can help in any way, no matter
how small, it is more appreciated than you can ever imagine! If you can’t help with the Angels, the Food Pantry is in need of turkeys/hams, canned vegetables, soup, beans, fruit, meat (chicken, tuna, etc.), spaghetti sauce, peanut butter, jam, ce- real, bagged rice and beans, boxed pota- toes, macaroni & cheese, pasta, top ramen soup, bottled water, etc., to replenish our shelves. The Food Pantry of Murrieta serves
nearly 500 families per week in the Mur- rieta, Temecula and French Valley areas. If you, your family, school, church
or organization wish to help with a food drive, donate food, or become an Angel to help an Angel, please visit the Thrift Store at 38444 Sky Canyon Dr., Suite 170-190, Murrieta, or call us at (951) 677-6347 for more information. Our volunteers are standing by to assist you.
