There’s a new and unique store in Old Town Temecula called The Wool Lady. It is a mix
between a rug hooking and quilting studio with a multitude of hand-dyed wools, yarns, ribbons, threads, and silks, all natural fibers. The walls are a rainbow of color with the wide selection of woolens for hand hooked rugs, wool appliqué quilting, tailored clothing, and exotic hand-spun yarns of camel, yak, alpaca, sheep, and mohair. As you peruse the shop you see a large collection of beautifully crafted samples of tradi-
tional and Brazilian embroidery, needlepoint and cross stitch. All types of patterns and threads are arranged throughout the store on vintage and antique furniture. The wool fabric comes from many locations throughout world including the United States, Scotland, England and Australia. The shop owner, Ruth Molina is a button collector. Displayed are all types of collectible
antique buttons, crafting, and artisan buttons suitable for knitting and crocheting, plus custom handmade ceramic buttons. Classes available: rug hooking, Brazilian and traditional embroi- dery, needle felting, cross stitch, needlepoint, punch needle, tatting, knitting and crochet. The store is located on the southeast corner of Old Town Front Street and Third, in the But-
