(I always wanted to drive one of those) The ultimate goal of each team is to eventually win the Stanley Cup!! This is one of the most coveted and oldest trophies in all of sports. There is only one cup and every year all of the players from the winning team get their names etched on the trophy. Each individual player from the winning team gets to keep the cup for a 24 hour period and boy does it get around! This cup has been to many a family gathering, a night on the town with players drinking champagne from it and goes all over the world to each player’s choice of setting for the 24 hour celebration. It has ap- peared on the Late Show with David Letter- man, was a guest at the Kremlin in Moscow and in the spring of 1999 it was among the list of Hollywood celebrities invited to take part in the 5K celebrity run/walk in Los Angeles to raise money for Cancer research! Hockey is a great sport to see in person
