ourselves slow to tell acquaintances any- thing from deep within. If we’re frank, we reveal an unconscious commitment to perpetuating the painful drama of being alone. In the Hendricks program we engage
the mind, heart and body to get below the level of words and open the free-flowing energy of our true essence – love. We learn to bring unconditional loving ac- ceptance to all aspects of ourselves as we:
• encounter the challenge of accepting the most hidden aspects of ourselves • become aware of, and welcome, our emotions as part of our wholeness
• acknowledge, accept, and release our unconscious commitments, such as an unconscious commitment to being criticized or betrayed or abandoned • make a new commitment to attract ing conscious, loving relationships.
It’s important to know what quali-
ties we want and don’t want in loving relationships. We want to attract whole- ness and completeness which is a good definition of joy. We think the wholeness comes from someone or thing outside ourselves. The reality is, however, that our true essence is the wholeness, and we must become ourselves the person we want to attract. We find that if we want to move for-
ward into loving relationships, we have to commit to doing any necessary work in ourselves and “wipe the disc” so that we open up free space to experience our true essence. This is courageous and exciting work because we are connected to vital- izing Life energy with its abundance of love, peace, joy, health and forgiveness.
