The Blister Sisters, a group of area women who annually participate in the Susan G. Komen Walk for a Cure event for breast cancer research, held a fundraiser Thursday (June 3) at Bellagio Bistro in Woodfin. This year, Heather Gast , Holly Leavitt, Leslie Milikian and Sarah Roe are participating locally. The group had cupcakes from the Bake Shoppe, raffle baskets and apparel to purchase. In three years, the Blister Sisters have raised more the $90,000.
