In December, Gray Plant Mooty was one of three Minnesota companies recognized for outstanding

contributions to local communities during the 33rd annual Minnesota Keystone Awards. The firm was selected from over 200 other Keystone member companies that donate at least 2 percent of pre-tax earnings to nonprofits, schools, and community-based organizations.

As a Keystone member for more than two decades, Gray Plant Mooty contributes a portion of its annual profits to a variety of causes, including Habitat for Humanity, Jeremiah Program, and the United Way. The level of outreach demonstrated by Gray Plant Mooty and the two other 2009 Keystone Award recipients won praise from program sponsors.

“Each of these [three] companies makes a huge difference in the community,” said Todd Klingel, CEO of the Minneapolis Regional Chamber of Commerce. “Minnesota corporations give back at a rate that is double the national average, and Minnesota Keystone celebrates this generosity.”
