Once :Portal is launched a new work session is started, owned by you. Your name is displayed at
the top of the window. The Getting Started screen is displayed. This screen contains links to online
help pages offering information on the listed topics. However, this guide should provide you with
enough information to process your job.
Name of logged in user
Your initial screen appears. This is the :Portal tab that is displayed immediately after you have
logged on. The default initial screen is the “My Products Overview” tab. This tab contains a list of
Products and Parts assigned to you (for example, to approve pages). If the tab is empty, there are
currently no Products or Parts assigned to you.
TIP: You can click on the Help button at the top of a tab to display a description of the tab in another window
NOTE: A :Portal session will time out if there is no activity
