Get Real.
Reality shows are always high up on the gaydar as
enjoyable viewing, a fact that GLAAD acknowledges.
Among the nominees is Kathy Griffin: My Life on the
D-List, and maybe I’ll get flack for this, but I think a
better contender would have been The Cho Show with
Margaret Cho.
Cho’s show was funny and she’s really about our best
interests at heart; besides Griffin’s act is getting as tired
as her alleged D-List status. I’m just sayin’!
Other contenders include: America’s Next Top Model,
Shirts & Skins (when did Silence of the Lambs serial killer
Jame Gumb get his own show?), Transamerican Love
Story and I Want to Work for Diddy – wow, that must have

While Suze Orman is being honored
with the Vito Russo Award, for raising
awareness that financial matters affect
us all. No? Really!
Get Into The Groove.
A great way to see who is making
a splash in the out-and-proud musi-
cal department is by looking at the
nominees for Outstanding Music Artist
GLAAD has assembled. They include:
Jay Brannan, Hercules & Love Affair,
The Magnetic Fields, k.d. lang and Sam
Sparro – guess the “w” is very silent in
his last name.

I’ll just assume my nomination letter got lost in the mail – sigh.

not be a case of “just an honor to be nominated.” Until next time, that’s all of
