TTG readers are being asked for their opinions on the region as a destination for the TTG/Caribbean Travel Agent Survey, which is being run with the Caribbean Tourism Organisation and is sponsored by Caribtours. The survey is open to all agents, including high
street retailers, online agents and homeworkers, plus tour operators and industry suppliers. As well as asking about sales trends to the Caribbean, the questionnaire looks at customers’ views of the region as a holiday destination and pressing issues such as Air Passenger Duty. All participants will be
entered into a prize draw to win £250 in Capital Bonds vouchers, courtesy of Caribtours.

service, and will be delivered at the Barcelona conference between November 14 and 17. “I’m looking forward to the conference and
having the opportunity to share some of the great ideas we all have about improving customer service,” Ellis said. Hays Travel’s commercial director Jill Gardner
added: “It’s fantastic to have such a big name in travel joining us at this year’s conference. “So much has gone on in the industry this year. I think the conference will be a great chance for members to share opinions and ideas, as well as to get the usual updates from the head office team.”
The Spanish Tourist Board will also give a
presentation, and Hays will run break-out sessions on social media, cruise, retail, finance and i-sell, the group’s sales system.
