The punctuality of UK flights improved in the
second quarter of the year, according to the CAA.
Scheduled flights at London City and Heathrow
airports showed the best improvement on last
year. The total number of flights handled at the
10 monitored UK airports fell by 9% to the lowest
level since 2003. Overall punctuality – flights
arriving within 15 minutes of schedule – improved
by 11 percentage points, from 71% to 82%.
