HOW CAN YOU PARTICIPATE? Plans are already being made for the 2017 AMC. If you are a mechanic, the best way to participate is to put together a team. Then you can see what all of the hype is really about. Other than the U.S. Army team of Apache mechanics, helicopter maintenance teams have been non-existent. However, the teams couldn’t compete without industry support. It takes a lot of resources to help put this together. Maybe you can volunteer your time? Maybe you would like to put together an event for the next competition? Ken MacTiernan, who puts together the competition each year, wants to expand the competition events for 2017. Maybe you or your company want to help put together a competition event? Maybe your company would like to become a sponsor and help fi nancially support the AMC? After all, the AMC is a non-profi t organization that relies on donations to keep it going. Maybe you would like to put a team together to compete in next-year’s event? For more information on how
you can participate, visit www. aerospacemaintenancecompetition. com. You can also contact Ken MacTiernan directly at jetdoctor69@
