Synot scores sponsorship M


ulti-regional lottery operator Synot Group has struck a deal to become the new title sponsor of the Latvian Higher League, the


country’s top division of club football. The competition, won last year by Liep ja, will be known as the SynotTip Latvian Higher League. Emils Latkovskis, chief executive of the Latvian Higher League, said: “Several companies have competed for the main league sponsorship, however, none of them could compete with the offer from the Synot Group. I do believe that mentioned experience and our shared vision will result in the growth of the league and that three very successful years are certainly ahead of us.” Synot previously served as title sponsor of the Czech Liga, but in January of this year revealed it was to exit the role after just 18 months.
