Kitchen Ranges

A brave new world for kitchens in 2016

C

hoice is a central theme for all kitchen retailers this year, as consumers look for individual and personal designs in their homes. Consumers are becoming braver in their design choices and will be more open to blending different styles to create individual designs. This means that it is an exciting time in kitchen design with the boundaries between styles merging to create new looks and a whole host of improved finishes and textures to mix and match.

Comment by Graham Jones Sales & Marketing Director, Trend Interiors

In terms of colours, bold colours are being replaced with softer ones, so grey instead of black for example. Specific colour schemes such as pale blues that capture a relaxed coastal theme will be popular in 2016. The Scandi trend will continue with more pale woods and coloured woodgrains.

There is going to be a rise in the urban look in 2016 with concrete and metallic finishes taking centre stage. We will also see these mixed with

woodgrains to give an industrial/ reclaimed feel to designs.

New technology will permit the production of materials that can replicate natural materials much more closely, such as synchronised wood grains and concrete.

It is an exciting time for manufacturers and designers alike as we take on the challenge of meeting consumer expectations whilst still delivering on service and quality.

Trend kitchens handleless range extended A

fter a successful launch in 2012 we have extended our range of Trend kitchens to include 34 new finishes and a wealth of innovative features and products to cater for all tastes.

Trend now includes 20 styles and 83 door options, allowing consumers to mix and match a variety of painted finishes with woodgrains and other textured finishes.

The popular handleless painted range is a great example. This was previously only available in 7 matt painted colours, across a soft neutral pallet that included Pumice, Pebble, Mussel and Cashmere alongside White, Grey and Ivory. We have added 10 new options, including 6 gloss, making this an ideal choice to mix and match with our woodgrain selection.

This contemporary kitchen is sleek and modern, allowing the creation of clean simple lines for those that want an uncluttered look.

As with all Trend kitchens, this is available with colour coordinated cabinets and a comprehensive range of accessories including sinks, taps and worktops.

We will be launching the new Trend kitchens along with bathrooms, bedrooms, media furniture and a new European styled worktop, UrbanTop at kbb Birmingham on 6-9th March, (Hall 20 stand F100).

Trend Interiors is unique in that it offers a single source of furniture for the home, making it easier for our customers to buy from a single source. With strong brand values of trust, quality and value the range is suitable for a wide range of customers, and provides a real alternative to the offer from the sheds.
