Railbookers targets trade with dedicated brochure

Tailor-made specialist Railbookers is to work proactively with the trade for the first time.

fill a gap in the market for the trade by offering flexible bespoke trips worldwide. Its targeted demographic is the


over-45 market, including families, which it said was slightly younger than other rail specialists’. Joy Lacana, who started in the


new role of head of agency sales last month, said: “Railbookers has predominantly traded as a business-to-consumer brand until now. At the moment, we get a very small amount of business from agents, and we have not given support to the trade.”
