AFRICA WELCOMES FIRST PARK HYATT
Park Hyatt Zanzibar, the first Park Hyatt in Africa, has opened in the beachfront Unesco World Heritage setting of Stone Town. The hotel is based in two buildings, one of which, Mambo Msiige,dates from the 17th century. The hotel has 67 rooms including 11 suites, as well as four restaurants, an infinity pool, an Anantara Spa and a fitness centre. The town’s main attractions, such as Forodhani Gardens, the Old Fort, the Old Dispensary and the House of
Wonders, are within walking distance.

THE REVERIE SAIGON OPENS IN VIETNAM
The Reverie Saigon in Vietnam claims to be the most luxurious hotel opening in Asia this year. The 286-room Leading Hotel of the World is located on the upper floors of the Saigon Times Square building. Rooms have been furnished by Italian design houses such as Visionnaire, Provasi, Giorgetti and Colombo Stile, and feature floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the city skyline, the Saigon River and the Mekong Delta. The hotel also has the longest bar in Saigon – the length of
a city block – and a 1,200sq m spa and fitness centre.
