DUST & FUME EXTRACTION FEATURE CENTRALISED DUST VACUUM SYSTEM UPGRADE
Dustcontrol UK has updated its centralised dust vacuum system by enlarging its proportions and increasing its capacity and capabilities. The updated DC 11-Module XL is a
complete central unit for source extraction and industrial cleaning that can manage just about every kind of dust and chip imaginable.
This latest upgrade sees the proportions
of the original unit increased, adding to the scope of its efficiency and providing the ability to handle more extraction points at a time than the standard model. “The specifications of the DC 11-Module XL are larger than the original which gives it an edge as the quantity of dust and debris it can handle is increased,” explains general manager James Miller. “The model is delivered as a complete central unit from the factory and thanks to its ‘plug and play’ capability is very easy to install. “The product is designed to produce
more vacuum/kW and can have 1-6 extraction points working at the same time with the potential for more depending on the application. It has a maximum noise level of 66 dB (A) and can be equipped with a HEPA filter for maximum dust extraction.
“The unit is one of the most effective dust extraction units available on the market today.” With the ability to handle a wide array of dusts and chips, industries benefiting from the unit’s implementation vary from the pharmaceutical, food and drink industries through to aerospace and automotive. The dust extraction capability protects workers from occupational lung diseases while protecting product quality by removing potentially damaging debris. The DC 11-Module can be combined
with a DC Green system to improve its environmental qualities. The system optimises the RPM of the vacuum provider, affording energy savings of 40-90% while improving performance. “The installation process for one of these systems in a plant takes just a few days with only limited disruption to plant productivity,” concludes Miller. “Thanks to its reduced noise levels the DC 11- Module XL is easy to fit in a building where noise might present a challenge.”
