Most experts in the leisure industry connect the name Wiegand with the Alpine Coaster or water and dry slides of all kinds. New from the German manufacturer, the Wie-Hex is a novel construction in which passengers fly as if in a witch's cauldron beneath a track through curves, over jumps and also through straight sections. A 310 m long Wie-Hex installation is now ready for guests in the adventure world in Thale, German Harz Mountains, featuring four gravity-powered gondolas. Due to the flexible design options, the Wie-Hex can be placed between other amusement park attractions or playground equipment. Like all Wiegand attractions, the Wie-Hex is also highly cost effective to operate, requiring no operating personnel and available with an optional coin-operated or electronic cash system.
