“Bollinger delighted the audience with her virtuoso performance.” —Marblehead Reporter
Soovin Kim and friends go deep on Beethoven’s immortal late quartets in this two-part series. For the first installment, Kim and the trio—drawn from the festival’s dynamic young talent—investigate Op. 132. They discuss the piece and play examples during the first half, and perform the piece in its entirety in the second half. Part II happens with the Grammy-winning Ying Quartet in February (page 18).
