The Art of

Time Ensemble “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band”

Thursday, November 19 at 7:30 pm $45/$38/$30

“Unique and inspiring.” —Maclean’s

Barenaked Ladies founder and lead singer Steven Page, along with Andy Maize (Skydiggers), Glen Phillips (Toad the Wet Sprocket), and Craig Northey (The Odds) join internationally renowned concert pianist Andrew Burashko and Toronto’s Art of Time Ensemble in a re-imagining of the Beatles’ groundbreaking album, Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band. With orchestrated horns and strings, the group fuses high art and pop culture in this fresh and semi-symphonic performance of “the most important rock and roll album ever made” (Rolling Stone). This brilliant interpretation features new arrangements by jazz, pop, and classical composers of all the classic album’s songs including Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds, When I’m Sixty-Four, A Day in the Life, With a Little Help From My Friends, and more.
