Rangemaster boosts oven sizes
Offering a winning combination of improved energy efficiency and more cooking space, new larger oven cavities have been introduced across the board by Rangemaster. A five percent increase
gives an additional four litres of space in full size main ovens, while the introduction of chromed rack sides boosts the number of shelf positions from five to seven. This makes it easier to batch cook foods, saving time and energy. The new smooth glide shelving system is quick and easy to use – and quieter as it creates less friction against the sides of the oven. “Well thought out design changes
have allowed us to improve the user experience and to achieve an A rating for multifunction and fan oven cavities across all our brands,” commented Marketing Manager David Thacker. “The new shelving system is not only easier to use but is also quieter as it creates less friction. Where previous ovens had grooved sides, the new improved oven has flat ridged sides with catalytic liners for easy cleaning. The chromed rack sides clip in and out
and can be cleaned in the dishwasher. Combined with the increased capacity, these changes are a winning combination for both our customers and for consumers.” The newly designed oven interior
features gaps at the back of the cavity which increase airflow. This creates a more even cooking environment so even when big baking trays are used, foods such as cakes and biscuits will be evenly browned. The changes have given multifunction and fan ovens an A rating while conventional ovens have a B rating.
