McCartney was part of a team that taught sessions on stockmanship and com- munication with family when working cattle. Patrick Dudley served as moderator at one of the sessions taught by Tiffany Dowell Lashmet, Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service. Lashmet spoke about grazing leases and landowner rights with pipeline easements.

Commissioner Miller was a featured speaker at a Sunday morning information session on 2015 agricultural priorities. The ses- sion was sponsored by Zesch and Pickett Insurance.


Philip Ellis, president, National Cattle- men’s Beef Association, was a featured speaker at the Sunday morning session on agricultural priorities.
