During an informational meeting on March 29, Texas Oil and Gas Associa- tion President Todd Staples talked about issues the energy industry have in com- mon with the cattle industry, and how the two can work together.

Gill pulled double duty at the Cattle Raisers Convention, speaking at the School for Successful Ranching about herd expansion and leading live cattle handling demonstrations in the Expo.


Ron Gill was part of the team who gave cattle han- dling demonstrations in the Cattle Raisers Expo. A demonstration arena was set up on the Expo fl oor in the Fort Worth Convention Center. All classes in the demonstration arena and in the Classroom in the Expo were free to all attendees.
