Sandon wins EFIA Gold Award for third time
Anilox roll manufacturer, Sandon Global, is celebrating the success of a second consecutive
Gold Award win for ‘Supplier of the Year’ at the 2015 EFIA awards. The company won Gold in 2014 and also in 2011, as well as the Silver Award in 2013. The EFIA Annual Print Awards recognises excellence in flexographic printing, and this is of special value to manufacturers as nominations are made by end users of products. Judging is carried out by an expert panel of industry representatives John Millington, managing director of Sandon Global, said: “Winning the Gold Award for ‘Supplier of the Year’ for the second time in a row is a great achievement and something everyone at Sandon is very proud of. We thank all of our customers for their continued support and for showing their confidence in our products and services by voting for us. “This success reflects our no compromise ethos. Schreiner MediPharm, a Germany-based global provider of speciality pharmaceutical labelling solutions, has been recognised with a World Label Award 2014 for its Pharma-Tac Plus hanging label. The Pharma-Tac Plus has a combination of booklet label, integrated hanger and detachable label parts. As a label for infusion bottles, it offers space for extra information, it ensures stable suspension, and allows reliable documentation of drug administration. It also affords sufficient space for text in several languages on ingredients and instructions for use in the paper booklet, which is securely connected to the plastic base label. The peel-open tab enables easy opening and re-closing. The hanger is part of the label and can be utilised via simple separation, and its detachable labels ensure reliable traceability of medications. The World Label Awards, held by L9, a global alliance of label associations, represents another chapter in the on-going success story for Schreiner MediPharm. The product has already won three awards - in the international label industry, the German printing industry, and from the North American Tag and Label Manufacturers' Institute.
