Modular slitter rewinder offers more accurate finishing
The latest Elite Multiflex G2 from machine manufacturer, Bar Graphic Machinery (BGM), sets
new standards as a multiple substrate inspection slitter rewinder finishing system. The G2 finishes a wide range of unsupported and supported films, foils, papers and light board from substrate thicknesses of 11 microns and upwards, at speeds of up to 300m/min.
Fitted with the latest advancements in servo technology, the machine is highly accurate and BGM’s own intelligent tension control system produces rewind profiles every time on various difficult materials and substrates.
BGM’s Multiflex G2 offers a wide variety of automatic web inspection control systems, from sensor free MMLD through to full 100 per cent inspection control. Due to the design of the fully modular Multiflex, a number of manufacturers’
inspection systems are retrofittable. This offers detection of print errors, such as text or ink irregularities, scratches, registration errors or colour variations, fully automated workflow systems from press to rewinder, and it has the ability to remove waste whilst still inspecting the web.
