HOST JAPAN EARNS HIGH MARKS FOR SPORTSMANSHIP While all six teams

demonstrated good sports- manship, one country stood out, according to a couple of members of Team USA. “Besides our team, Team Japan demonstrated the best sportsmanship,” Gracie Gold said. “One example was when they came over to Team USA’s box to cheer for Jason’s (Brown) free skate.” “Japan!” Alexa Scimeca

said. “Not only were the Japanese skaters supportive, but so were the fans. They displayed respect and love for the sport. We will never forget how much Japan loves skating, and how spe- cial they made us feel.”
