MvPerCam 6D camera Matrix Vision has released the perception camera MvPerCam, an optical system that returns the position (3D) and the motion vector (6D) of an object, as well as its size, its orientation in space, and its perfect pick point. The camera images objects with in video real-time (30Hz) at full resolution (1,024 x 1,024 pixels). The detection area covers 250mm to 2,500mm, which is ideal for tracking objects or for vision-guided robotics, in which the robot first looks at a whole pallet and then, more closely, at the single packages. Vibrations from the transport system will not have any effect on the mvPerCam because it uses a continuous self- calibrating system.

Vieworks VN- 25MX M/C Stemmer Imaging now offers the Vieworks VN-25MX M/C, a CMOS pixel shifting machine vision camera equipped with the high-speed CoaXPress interface. The 25 megapixel (5,120 x 5,120) resolution high-speed progressive scan CMOS sensor runs at 72fps, but the camera can also achieve high frame rates of 18fps in pixel shift mode at a resolution of 100 megapixels. This ultra-high resolution combined with
high frame rates makes it ideally suited to a wide range of industrial and scientific imaging applications. These include flat panel display and PCB inspection, semiconductor inspection, high-speed 3D imaging, and digitising and scanning. Available in monochrome and colour
versions, the VN-25MX features Viework’s advanced pixel shift technology based on a precise piezoelectric stage to allow resolution to be extended from 25 megapixels to 100 megapixels. The CoaXPress interface supports image data transmission at up to 6.25Gb/s using a single coaxial cable and up to 25Gb/s using four cables.
