Revamped MarBella Corfu hotel to reopen in April The MarBella Corfu hotel will reopen on April 24 with a refurbished restaurant and gym, and a kids’ dining area. The hotel has also introduced an American restaurant with sunbed waiter service beside the kids’ pool. Sovereign is offering seven nights’ full-board at the MarBella Corfu from £2,249 for a family of three.

In November, Grace Hotels launched a revamped version of its Bespoke by Grace initiative, which began as specific in-room services and products based on customer requests. Novella said that as part of the
programme, each hotel organised activities to suit guest requests. “The activities are run by locals
and often promote activities that are available in the area,” he said. “For example, at Grace Cafayate
in Argentina we do tours of local vineyards and wine holidays with a local expert. He said the group’s properties
in Mykonos and Santorini were its most popular with UK customers.

Mayfair Hotel opens in listed building in Adelaide A 170-room hotel has opened in central Adelaide, South Australia. The Mayfair Hotel, which is in a listed building, features a rooftop terrace, lounge, gym, restaurant, cafe and bar. Rooms start at £90, based on two sharing.

Lancaster London unveils Nipa Thai Time package The Lancaster London hotel has launched a Nipa Thai Time package. Prices start at £219 including a night’s accommodation, a Thai dinner for two with prosecco, and breakfast, based on two people sharing.

Hotel Goldgasse new for Salzburg’s festival district The 16-room Hotel Goldgasse has opened in the historic district of Salzburg in Austria. Housed in a 700-year-old building previously a workplace for coppersmiths, it is within walking distance of the main attractions. Each room is named after a different opera to reflect the Salzburg Festival, and has a fridge with complimentary snacks and drinks. The hotel also offers free Wi-Fi. This year’s Salzburg Festival runs from July 18 to August 30.
