SALES EXECUTIVE (U.K) Ethiopian Airlines, the fastest growing and most profitable airline in Africa is


looking for an experienced Sales Representative (passenger) from the travel industry ideally with three years experience in an airline.


This is a key role within the U.K business to maximize revenue whilst managing and maintaining client relationships. The position is a mixture of account management and business development and requires some travelling around the country, attending industry events, training and organizing FAM trips.


The candidate should have a good understanding of UK air travel market , must be a passionate and energetic computer literate individual, proactive , able to prioritize assigned tasks , flexible, able to work independently and as part of a team with an outgoing personality, excellent communication skills and with the proven ability to source new business opportunities. Main Purpose of Role Representing a leading, global hotel brand, we require a high calibre Sales Executive to create brand awareness and deliver sales for their portfolio of brands. You will be required to visit selected travel bookers and agents within your locality and build strong relationships to ensure our client is the hotel of choice for business customers. With your excellent communication skills, you will present to all levels of agents, bookers, hotel staff and management within your territory covering West London / M4 Corridor. A self-starter, you’ll be working alone within a highly professional, results-driven environment, supported by a strong management team and colleagues in similar roles in other parts of the country, and indeed around the world. This position is part-time, requiring a flexible approach comprising 24 hours per week. Role Description You will be joining an established team of enthusiastic sales professionals to visit specified travel agents and bookers within the West London / M4 Corridor region in order to achieve market share and revenue goals. Quickly familiarising yourself with your sales portfolio, you will build on strong, existing relationships to promote awareness and generate new business. You will be given all the tools and support necessary to present relevant sales materials to reach the maximum number of hotel booking agents and bookers in each call. Monthly market intelligence reports will be provided to assist you in effectively planning your sales visits so as to maximise your time in the field. For this you will be self-motivated, have good time management skills and be capable of analysing market data to best plan your diary. Regular sales meetings are held, which you will be required to attend both in person and on telephone conference calls. As an ambassador for this worldwide brand, you will be highly presentable where business dress is required at all times. Occasionally the business will require you to perform ad-hoc duties and work additional hours so a flexible, can-do attitude is desirable. You will be provided with a mobile telephone, laptop and business expenses.


Requirements Ideally you should have experience of sales within the travel industry, although applicants with a strong field sales background may be considered. Be highly motivated, self-disciplined and well organised You will have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Professional and presentable Flexible with your working hours Have strong MS Office skills Hold a full UK Passport & driving licence with your own transport Preferably live near Reading
