Royal Caribbean percolates Espresso booking system Phil Davies
Royal Caribbean Cruises will train agents in the UK and Ireland on a new booking system over the next two months. The training comes ahead of the launch in March of Espresso, which the company claimed would be a faster and more intuitive reservations system for Royal Caribbean International, Celebrity Cruises and Azamara Club Cruises. The system will allow itineraries to be compared side by side to help agents find the most suitable cruise for a customer. Once a query is submitted, the search engine

HF Holidays signs up to use post-booking technology from d-flo
Walking and leisure activity provider HF Holidays has struck a deal to use post-booking technology supplied by d-flo. The TravelComms software
takes raw data from reservations made direct and through agents, and creates personalised communications for customers. D-flo said the software helped firms boost loyalty and cut costs. David Harington, head of administration at HF Holidays, said: “We aim to make a wider range of information about their holiday available to guests more speedily, via the post or online.”
