Pandaw creates Expeditions arm offering flight-inclusive packages

Pandaw has set up a new business to give agents the opportunity to book flight-inclusive packages. As part of the company’s 20th
anniversary celebrations, the river cruise operator has created Pandaw Expeditions, which will run as a separate business, offering river cruises with flights included. The new proposition, which launched this week and is led by commercial director Hugh Clayson and his London-based team, will appeal to those seeking “luxury adventure”, according to Clayson. Agents will need to set up new
commercial terms with Pandaw Expeditions and Clayson said he was keen to speak to as many agents as possible in the coming months. He added that
there had been a demand from agents for flight-inclusive packages and tailor- made itineraries combining river cruises with land holidays. “We believe there is a

strong demand for this, following a lot of appetite in the UK for the Pandaw product,” Clayson said. “Now, with a flight-inclusive
offering, we’re making it even
more attractive and easier for
agents to book. There is a real interest for luxury
adventure these days and the Pandaw product really works for that market.”

The operator will put set
packages online, but agents can contact the team if their customer wants a more bespoke itinerary. Agents who make a booking
with Pandaw Expeditions by the end of January will earn a £20 Amazon voucher.
