NRT deploys new telecoms platform
Network Rail Telecom has deployed the Infinera DTN-X packet optical transport networking platform across the UK’s rail infrastructure. David Stevenson reports.
Network Rail Telecom (NRT) is delivering an advanced communications platform, which features the industry’s only commercially available 500 gigabit per second (Gb/s) super-channel solution, is designed to support future terabit (Tb) super-channels without requiring new chassis.
