DISTRICT 5 – EASTERN OKLAHOMA Twenty Cattle Missing in Oklahoma TSCRA Special Ranger John Cummings reports the


theft of 20 head of mixed-breed beef cattle from a property near Quinton in Pittsburg County, Okla. The cattle, weighing approximately 900 to 1,200 pounds each, went missing from a property near Quinton in Pitts- burg County between August and the middle of September. The cows have “71 branded on the right hip or “17 branded on the left hip.


Cowboy Collection Saddle Stolen near Stuart On Aug. 28, a saddle was stolen from a property near Stuart in Hughes County. The saddle is a 15.5-inch Cowboy


Collection with a rough-out seat and fenders. The front of the saddle has a basket-weave pattern and the cantle area has a combination of fl oral and basket-weave patterns. When stolen, it had aluminum stirrups, a set of new raw- hide oxbow stirrups hanging on the horn and a King Ranch brand 5/16 soft lay rope.
