prepare for and respond to pandemic disease, such as the Ebola virus. Giroir will head up a team of internation- ally renowned experts in epidemiology and infectious disease, including several Texas A&M faculty members. The task force will be composed of Texas Health and


Human Services Executive Commissioner Dr. Kyle Janek and Texas Department of State Health Services Commis- sioner Dr. David Lakey, as well as public health experts, epidemiologists and leadership from state agencies that would be involved in the response to a pandemic event.
