APT reveals Princess Panhwar to sail Burma itineraries Hollie-Rae Merrick


APT is introducing a four-star river ship in its new 2015-16 Asia programme. The 36-cabin Princess Panhwar, which offers French and outside balconies, will sail on the Irrawaddy river in Burma next year.


The ship has an air-conditioned lounge, sun deck, main restaurant, and spa and massage facilities. Princess Panhwar, offered as part of APT’s premium Travelmarvel brand, will sail a 17-day Majestic Burma cruise from Yangon to Mandalay. The cruise leads in at £3,995 and includes a visit to the


HAL releases details about Pinnacle-class ship Koningsdam


Holland America Line has released details about the design of its new ship Koningsdam, due to launch in February 2016.


The ship, the first in HAL’s


Pinnacle class, will be consistent with the other ships in the fleet but will have “innovative features”, according to Stein Kruse, Holland America Group chief executive.
