ollowing this year’s PPMA Show 2014 where Kite Packaging collaborated
with Audion Swissvac, the UK supplier has expanded its packaging machinery range to offer more choice and solutions for its customers. This includes the company’s e-commerce offering which has now launched vacuum chamber machines, shrink and seal hood machines and an integrated desktop heat shrink system. For Major Account’s customers that are
provided for by Kite’s national branches, there are even more options including medically validated vacuum sealers, automatic bagging machines and continuous heat sealers. This range has been launched following an upward trend in customers looking for automated solutions to add to their packaging operations. Kite Packaging hope to open up their offering and become more attractive to the industrial food market, offering customers with high volumes a more efficient and consolidated packing method. Logistics and warehousing is a key

VACUUM CHAMBER MACHINES This includes a range of vacuum chamber machines. Four models are available with differing benefits with the range designed using the latest technology to remove excess air from pouches and protect from deterioration and damage. The lowest priced vacuum chamber of the range – a single chamber desktop model ideal for small items - retails at £1,090, an incredibly competitive price for a vacuum packing machine. For more advanced operations there is a freestanding machine available featuring dual seal bars to allow for multiple pouches, 10 programme settings and a 63m3/h pump capacity for fast and efficient vacuum packing.

HEAT SHRINK AND SEAL Kite has launched a range of heat shrink and seal machines due to the increasing demand of more professional looking products from retailers. These machines shrink wrap a product and seal the film to create a highly attractive pack using a shrink hood system and integrated seal mechanism. Designed for customers wanting to move away from heat shrink guns, they can significantly improve speed in the operation with Kite’s offering including a system that can shrink and seal up to 1,200 packs per hour. In addition, a new range of vacuum pouches and an integrated desktop system have been made available through the e-commerce store.
