the functionality of the SecureSeal Data reusable seal used on each trailer door, to provide an automated audit trail of security sealing to Mothercare’s loss prevention team. Data from the Logger is collected


automatically via the drive-by Receiver Hub, normally sited at the gatehouse. An internet portal provides a full audit trail for every trailer as well as a suite of proactive loss prevention exception reports. “The SecureSeal Logger system is unique as


it uses drive-by RF technology to automatically capture all trailer seal activity from every journey,” commented Cameron Grant, managing director at SecureSeal Systems Ltd. “Access to seamless security information and proactive exception reports will enhance the ability of Mothercare’s loss prevention team to reduce shrinkage across the supply chain.” The Logger can collect information from the


security seal or the door switch using the range of SecureSeal Systems sensors. SecureSeal Data trailer seals are permanent and reusable, with a unique random security number generator that indicates unauthorised door openings. Deployed as standalone units with optional


connections to the SecureSeal Logger for audit trails or connected to standard vehicle monitoring systems (VMS), they are in daily use on over 50,000 vehicles globally, including many retail and supermarket fleets across the UK and Europe.
