Roar-O-Saurus! The new ride anchors Story
Land’s Dinosaur themed section and is expected to provide many local children with their first rollercoaster experience, whilst broadening the park’s demographic. The 1,250ft-long (380m) coaster has a lift height of 40ft (12m), providing a spectacular view of the surrounding area. Riders enjoy the experience from the comfort of a 12-seater train
featuring the park’s new Rory the little Dino mascot.
The American amusement park Story Land celebrated its 60th anniversary season in 2014 with a new wooden rollercoaster. Designed by The Gravity Group, Roar-O-Saurus is a one- of-a-kind beast that takes advantage of the New Hampshire park’s natural terrain.
Also featured as part of Story Land’s new dinosaur themed area are the Dino Dash race game and Dino Dig play area, with more to come. The Palace Entertainment (Parques Reunidos) property now boasts a total of 22 rides, live shows and attractions, including several storybook characters and animals.
