The sideloaders are ideal to serve the important timber production aspect of Carvers, which is based at one of its two 10 acre sites, and reflects the growth of the company, now one of the largest of its kind in the country.
C HEAVIER VEHICLE
Carvers operates on a number of sites trading as merchants on a variety of building products and services. Its two main builders/timber merchant sites, each operating on ten acres, have different terrains. Its Neachells Lane site requires a heavier vehicle with good ground clearance, some requiring fume-filtering, where operation includes feeding timber mills. Its main site at Littles Lane operates with extremely flat ground conditions and re-stocks cantilever racking in a drive through warehouse which serves the trade throughout the working day. The vehicle required of this must be small in size but large enough to cope with the demands of handling timber and sheet material pallets/ packs. The smaller LQN 50-12-62TV works well for Carvers narrow warehouses but is still capable of the loads required of it.

PRODUCT VARIATIONS The smart red and black Bulmor trucks may look the same but for Carvers, Bulmor Lancer produced variations on a theme to match distinct duties and operating locations for Carver. The trucks are diesel powered with 5tn capacity and 1200mm platform width. The variations include DQ50/12/45
short chassis high platform machines giving high utilisation and excellent productivity over the working environment and offering 45mt lifting height. In addition, two of the same trucks have been fitted with two way catalytic converters for superior engine emissions in their particular location. The DQn50/12/62TV x1 short chassis low platform version provides maximum storage utilisation with a Triplex mast and excellent maneuverability. The entire fleet is equipped with an advanced resin- filled pneumatic tyre solution to minimize on punctures via Air Seal Products.

Austria illustrates that each truck is made to specification. There are no long assembly lines or conveyor belts. Customers are invited to visit the factory to see the progress of their order.
