Join us for the Cornish Climbing Festival at the Count House, Bosigran. Owned by the Climbers’ Club, it’s perfectly situated for climbing on Cornwall’s north coast.

Bristol Climbing Festival 26 Jul, Avon Gorge
A big event to celebrate all the work done so far on the ACT-funded ClimbBristol project to restore the crags of Avon Gorge.

6-7 Sept, Wilton One, Lancashire
Over 100 climbers came to the fi rst-ever WiltonFest last year. Come along on the Saturday for a base camp in the BMC-owned Wilton One, with free brews throughout the day and knowledgeable locals to point newcomers at best lines. Followed by BBQ, beers, raffl e and an informal area meeting. You can camp in the quarry overnight and climb on Sunday too.

BMC Gower Climbing Festival 12-14 Sept, Pitton Cross Camping & Caravan Park, Rhossili
The popular Gower Climbing Festival, organised by the BMC’s local team in South Wales, is now in its sixth year. The dates coincide with low tides in the afternoon for climbing straight off golden sands. Local enthusiasts are on hand to offer info and the evening is spent in a local pub.

BMC Crag Lough Clean-up 13-14 Sept, Crag Lough, Northumberland
The annual clean-up of Crag Lough, below Hadrian’s Wall, one of Northumberland’s fi nest low to mid-grade crags. Saturday is spent cleaning routes, then there’s an evening BBQ courtesy of BMC followed by beers in a local pub. On Sunday you can climb the newly- cleaned routes. Everyone - locals and visitors alike - is very welcome.
