Latest QuantumX module H

BM has expanded its QuantumX modular data acquisition platform with the MX403B module to provide high-precision measurement of up to 1,000 Volts.

The

MX403B module has four differential channels for the direct measurement of electric voltages and is fitted with high insulation for maximum security. Each channel is equipped with analog anti-aliasing filters, digital filters and 24-Bit A/D converters while it outputs data with sampling rates of up to

100 kS/sec/channel and acquires signal bandwidths of up to 38 kHz. The parameters of the measuring ranges can be freely varied or fixed at 10V, 100V and 1,000V enabling the acquisition of high voltages and smaller differential voltages from high potentials against ground reference. The module was developed to the latest IEC 61010:2013 standard and has been certified by the VDE.

Aico Alarms and Control Switch fitted by Scottish Council

A

s part of a ten year programme West Lothian Council

is fitting Aico Smoke and Carbon

Monoxide (CO) alarms, with its unique Alarm Control Switch, across all 13,500 of its properties. West Lothian is responsible for over 170,000 people and has the fastest growing population in Scotland. The Council owns and manages a wide range of properties and takes the safety of its tenants very seriously. The council is fitting Aico 160RC Series mains powered Smoke and Heat alarms and Aico’s new Ei208WRF cost-effective Lithium battery powered CO alarms. The alarms are interconnected using Aico’s proven RadioLINK Professional wireless interconnection technology. RadioLINK allows alarms on the system to communicate with each other using RF signals rather than hard wiring. When one alarm is triggered, all the alarms interconnected on the system will sound, providing warning throughout the property.

DEAL NETWORKS launches its new data cable transmission tester, SignalTEK CT, designed with installers and network owners in mind who need to prove that copper cabling has been installed correctly and is capable of supporting Gigabit Ethernet applications to the international standard IEEE802.3ab. SignalTEK CT is a new generation of tester that is a cost-effective alternative to LAN cable certification. It carries out two primary tests via its Autotest function; a wiremap test and a data transmission test. The wiremap test displays crossed pairs, opens, shorts and split pairs, whilst the data transmission test performs at 100Mbit/s or 1000Mbit/s, providing 100% load on that link from both sides. This offers users a clear reading if the link really can support the desired Ethernet speed. SignalTEK CT comes in a kit with display and remote unit as well as rechargeable batteries, patch cables, power supply, multi-lingual manual and carry case.
